The diary game : 03/01/2021 : Going to a Movie Theatre after 1 Year

Yesterday finally after more than a year I visited a Movie theatre to watch a Movie. It was a good feeling. I am a movie buff and I was missing going to a theatre and watching a Movie. Since March 2020 the Theatres have been shut down.
In my city mid-December, they were opened up, but due to some or the other work I was not able to go. In the New Year me and my husband decided to go for a Movie and we went to see "Unhinged". There were not many options, since there are no new movies getting released.

The movie was ok and it was disappointing to see Russell Crowe so much out of shape bloated up. I could not believe the Gladiator hero going out of shape. He really looked ugly and it was not at all pleasant to see. The story line was ok so it got pulled off.

For me it was a delight to get the whole Cinema Hall experience again. There were only 7 people for the movie, such a sad sight to see. I felt like the movie theatre was the safest place as it was completely empty. In a theatre of 200, only 7 seats filled, what better social distancing then this one.....hahaha....Anyways I enjoyed my time.
They have been advised to operate at 50% capacity, but here they are at 5%. Sad realities of Covid times

Here we come

Everywhere there are these banners.

Social distancing at best :-)

This clearly shows the impact of Covid on the economy and livelihoods of people. I just hope 2021 lifts up everyone and everything in a positive manner.

It is a pity that it is not safe to go to cinemas today, so there are no people! It is better to watch movies at home, be careful, you never know where you will meet a Covid carrier who does not even know about it ...

Yes, true

It seems like the theatres nowadays are in a bear trend. Just like a bull trend(crowded, Housefull) bear trend is also a reality. Covid has taught this reality for every sector in 2020.

Thank you.

True, Covid has really given a deep impact specially in the hospitality, airlines and entertainment sector. It is sad to see how people are losing their jobs and so much of uncertainty around. I believe we are still yet to see the bigger impacts of Covid.
