A Little Bit About Me

When you are interviewing someone who will be doing a vital job for you on your staff, you have to make certain that they are capable of doing quality work. If they do a bad job, it will require more of your own time to correct the problems and could lead to you losing your own job because you were not capable of selecting the proper staff.

Your staff is a reflection of your own ability to manage. You do not hire someone just because they say they they are qualified or that you like them personally; you hire them because they are the best you can find with the needed qualifications.

Sadly, only a few people have such discipline. Most people these days hire people because they know them, or like ten not because they are qualified for it. And some, they are just too lazy to do a good job. Well, they always end up paying for their laziness...

I am not sure I will ever be in a position to hire people but that definitely are great lessons to hold on to.

No one knows what the future holds. Someday you may have the opportunity to do many things you have not dreamed of. Life would be very boring if you knew everything in advance!

You are right about hiring friends. Friends and relatives make the worst employees because you cannot manage them without hurting feelings. That ALWAYS happens and it does not end well.

Do you know what you would like do do if you could choose?

Yeah! We never can tell, it's always great to watch it unfold bits by bits. With all of the surprises, twist and turns etc.

Nothing fancy, really. Actually, something fancy! I will be an astronaut, just because it looks like a really fun adventure. 😀 But we all know it is not all fun... Lol!

Sorry it took me a while to reply....

Have you ever desired to learn to fly an airplane? It is no more difficult than driving an automobile, it just takes more concentration and practice.

You may not get to the moon on your first flight but you will learn a lot about yourself and discover where your real comfort zone is.

Two of the biggest thrills in my life were when I first drove my sports car long ago, and a little before that when I pulled back on the control stick and felt the wheels leave the ground. I had left the Earth and that was a first step!

All you need is a direction, Audrey! It's there waiting for you.

Will

Yeah, I have. but I didn't really give it too much tought. Because my little research showed that it is skittle bit expensive here (more than I can afford), will keep that aside until when I can...

Learning to fly will definitely help me get more clarity.

Those experiences must have felt really amazing!

The first time I took off on my own, my heart lifted and kept going and has remained somewhere above me ever since! It is a liberating feeling...like flying!

I had to give up my lessons half way through for the very same reason: I could not afford it at the time. I was working and going to college and barely had money to pay my tuition and that made flying someone elses' dream.

The wonderful feeling is still there. I still stop and look up every time I hear an airplane of any type and watch it as long as I can see it.

Someday.....

Wow! What an experience...

Yeah, someday I will definitely find my way there...

Remember that the future is happening every day.

I was working on the new garden on Saturday, putting in fence posts when a small single engine airplane flew over. I looked up and my first thought was "If I had the money, that could be Audrey up there getting her license hours on her solo flights."

Truth.
