1960년대는 국내외를 막론하고
정치,사회적으로 혼란과 변혁의 시기였었죠

이 영화는 그 당시 재일조선인 학생과 일본 학생들과의
좌충우돌과 로맨스를 보여주는 코미디물이자 시대물입니다

일본 특유의 감성과 코믹함을 보여주는 씬과
일본인 배우들이 열심히 연습한 한국말도 들을수 있죠

그중 청순한 '사와지리 에리카'의 앳된 얼굴과
'오다기리 죠'의 엉뚱한 히피주의자 캐릭터도 볼수 있습니다

일본인 감독의 시선으로 만든 재일조선인들의 삶과
일본인도 한국인도 아닌 어디에도 속하지 못하는 현실을 담고 있죠

어설픈 포스터와 제목때문에 3류 영화쯤으로 보이지만
격동의 시대와 분단의 아픔을 표현한 잘 만든 수작 영화입니다

마지막으로
이런 영화를 만드는 감독과 제작자의
그 시도와 용기에 응원을 안하수가 없군요
