Stage 1.5
You meet someone and just fit. Things work well and you complete each other. The world is calmer and everything works well. You do your best to embarrass each other, and enjoy each moment. When you're around each other love fills the room like a gaseous fart ripped silently that spreads through the room like a rumour about that one time you spent a night with a badger...
Stage 2.75
You live through all the shit and together stay to build a life full of adventures. You frequently remember the nights you spent together by the candlelight all those times love was professed in a heat of passion and sweat that covers the room in a smell not unlike the inside of a used condom. At least once before you had an accident that made you happy and secured your life stuck to a mortgage and a house. Shortly after you got another surprise. Now the first present feels jealousy towards your second child and your unsure how to explain you no longer care about him in a nice way.
Stage 14
The surprises have left to make their own lives, they no longer visit but you try to keep in touch. Your favourite has lost her way and no longer regards you as a solid foundation of good living. Many have come and gone through her life and over time she has morphed into someone you no longer recognise. Had she gone out to join a jam band you feel like it would have been a better pathway than the route her path took her on. From here what happens happens, you just hope you did enough so she knows anytime she wants to quit her modelling career you will be here for her.
