The dream

I had that dream again. You know, the one where I was walking down down the street talking to you. Then I turned around and you were gone!
Where did you go? How could you leave without telling me? What I am I supposed to do now?
I am alone and your are gone.
Everyone one is acting like nothing happened. They are laughing talking and laughing and kissing!!
Don't they notice? My world has ended, yet they go on.
I heard about your accident while watching the 11 o'clock news.
" 18 year old Belchertown youth dies in weather related accident" That is how I heard.
My best friend is dead and I am alive! How is that fair? She was the smart one, the good one, The one with all the promise.

35 years has not lesson the loss.
