Insect that lives in stagnant pools of water in the Northern Hemisphere, the pool skater is a delicate, water-based insect. Approximately 500 different species of pool skaters can be found in the wild, each with its own unique name, such as puddles, water bugs, magic bugs, skaters, skimmers, pool scooters, pool skaters, pool skates, water skimmers, water skippers, and Jesus bugs.
Throughout Europe, the pool skater can be found living on the surface of ponds, slow streams, bogs and other quiet bodies of water. The pool skater is also known as the pool skatera. A characteristic of pond skaters that distinguishes them is their ability to "walk on water," in which case they use surface tension to softly walk on the water's surface.
