I am a big fan of this sort of sympathetic magic.
I use various altars to put the pictures or symbols of what I'm trying to draw into my life, but it works the same as your board.
I've recently started burning a candle as I sit with my various vision boards.
I've found the candle to be very helpful.

Yes, I think that the idea is the same. I've heard that candle flame can be great for meditation as well, so maybe it is relaxing and helps with focus during visualisation. I need to get some candles myself.

Hey @eco-alex!
I think you would enjoy making a vision board. I always play some music, set up a nice atmosphere and make sure that I'm in a good mood.
The only recommendation I have is to only put pictures that make you feel great, motivated, inspired when you look at them. I made a mistake in the past where I would put photos that made me anxious or gave me that "this is amazing but I'm not sure I can have that" vibe. We don't want that! :)
