Dumbed-Down Security Briefings Still Too Hard for Trump to Read

in news •  7 years ago

This is NOT NORMAL

The Washington Post reports that President Trump refuses to read daily intelligence briefings, instead receiving the briefings orally, and with less frequency over time. Recall that this is AFTER Trump already said he doesn't really need the briefings often since he is "like, a smart person."

Who's concerned?

IMHO Trump doesnt much care about anything than staying at the center of attention. I personally think he has dementia and is barely able to perform the duties required of him. Stephen Miller and other white supremacists like the Mercers are the shadow president .. Trump just rolls out their draconian policy. Personally I think Trump hates being president and I'm glad because I want him to suffer. I cant wait for him to be out of office and I hope his downfall is maximally embarrassing and degrading for him - I'd like to see him locked away but somehow I doubt that will happen. Ford pardoned Nixon which made a mockery of justice .. the elite class usually expect they can skate on through .. look at Trump's kids, how entitled they think they are. Trump should never have become president, and lets face it: his wall will never be built and the infrastructure programme will probably never happen. This is a guy who spends half his time golfing and the other half scheming how to obstruct justice and continue to survive one more day. If he hadnt bribed the 1% with tax breaks, he'd probably already be out. As soon as his usefulness runs out, he's out. And I am disgusted at Chuck Schumer for cutting deals with this monster. The Dems are sell outs. I cant stand it. They have to resist every motion to the extent of their power. This is a criminal administration, we cant play footsie with them.

You aren't the only one who thinks that

I know, it's truly horrific. Like having the Addams Family in the White House, but with much less elan and style. Ultimately its a symptom of how far we are slipping down the drain. The USA is still a young country and this is its adolescent nightmare. Too bad the whole world is held hostage by this nutty drama. It looks like Idiocracy was a documentary. and Hunger Games is becoming more a possibility with each passing day. How much longer do we have to put up with these people? It's a confederate coup, basically .. I thought the Civil War was over, but Hail, Dixie, the white supremacists are in charge .. and look how advanced they are, such ubermensch .. hahaha .. barf

Lol, "A president who we prefer not get the Presidential Briefing." I shouldn't be laughing; it's like I woke up in the Twilight Zone! The Simpsons screwed up; this line should of been for Trump: "I was elected to lead, not to read. Number Three!"

yeah, it would only be funny if it weren't so horrifying

I'm not convinced Trump can read.

Trump is Trump 😂 he is the man of his own understandings !

He is maybe more concerned of himself and he trusts more of himself! :D

No matter how smart a person is, or not - There is so much happening in the world, that, at least, a short briefing is necessary every day. Even if it is just "and that topic continues on from last week". Only an informed leader can make informed decisions ...

nice news...thanks for sharing

your concept is very good bro

The man already must be having information overloads. Let's spare his brain, its must not be extended beyond the elastic limit.

This story was already ridiculous enough, what with the dumbing down of briefings and the repetition of the words "President Trump" every few lines to make him feel important. This guy is outright dangerous, because he's a combination of incompetence, arrogance and bad ideas. I still don't get why he's where he is.

The Trumpster don't care

I remember the presidency of Ronald Reagan (1981-1989) and the media reaction to his agenda. It was harsh for that time frame of American history. Today's reactions to Trump's agenda are by far harsher IMO. It reminds me of wild-eyed extremists in ISIS recruitment videos. Granted all you can see are their eyes, but that is all you really need to see. What Reagan had though that Trump either doesn't have or chooses not to use is a sharp wit that with a simple phrase put critics in their place with a common sense reason for what he was doing for the country. The goals of both Reagan and Trump are reality based, again IMO, and not idealism based. I think I'll expand on this in an upcoming post dealing with the art of thinking and why we are all so different in that regard and why that is so important to our survival.

Trump is the worst president of the United States. He made the region a major conflict after the declaration of Jerusalem. Trump loves war
