We can all spread ourselves a bit thin with all the social media options. I pretty much gave up on my own blogs and decided to go with Steem. I lose some audience, but gain others. I don't have time to post on many places. I do the odd tweet and FB post. If you have a good audience elsewhere then you need to look after them. It's all a compromise. Of course they could all join Steem :) I will happily create accounts for people, but I can understand if people are even more wary of it right now.

It's a chicken/egg situation. Seriously I know other people who are really not sure about Steem for various reasons. There are dodgy people here, but that's what you get when there are no rules. We can have freedom or control. The current situation has exposed a weakness that some had warned about. As I said before, nothing is perfect. Meanwhile open source projects fight wars over wallpaper colours and button positions :)

Oh god yeah. FOSS is full of Drama Queens who almost see 'getting offended' as some sort of moral badge.
