Opinion:

Great solution to clean bodies of water on a small scale.
Pros:
Collects pollution.
Works great in lakes.

Cons:

This product cannot scale and clean up the oceans by itself.

So this thing is scouting trough the waters and detecting is there any toxic waste. Nice one. With enough of these we can cover the waters with sensors and follow the pollution closely.

It looks a little too creepy for my tastes, like a baby Nessie with the head sticking out. Lol! But you're right, what it does is really cool. It would be great if they develop this robot to identify pollution even at low levels so communities can put in measures to prevent them from really getting polluted, in the first place.

Why stop at lakes? This would be great for detecting pollution in rivers as well either as regular checkups or even in cases of oil or other chemical spills. The combination of mechanical and bio sensors is an interesting solution.

This is the perfect example of using robot tech to solve the problems that otherwise seem to have no solution. The person behind this robot snake with sensors is really genius. He's done phenomenal job all on his own. Excellent hunt @dayleeo.

This one real cool invention! A device that has an organic material sensor out from an living aquatic organism that can detect toxic substances in water areas which helps humanity distant themselves from harm. I like it! I will give this hunt a score of 5 out of 5.

This is an amazing product and i think it must be placed in every lake because we know that pollution in waters are increasing day by day, it is harmful both for humans and aquatic life and i think such robots are really helpful & most economic/precise way to reduce pollution from waters. This innovation would pretty much help salvage lakes or even rivers that had been polluted with lotta trash, and it will also restore the already polluted environment for aquatic animals. Great hunt.

Pros

Can easily track sea or lake pollution through its sensor.

It is robotic snake and also looks like that and this has a bio sensor to detect any kind of pollution

With high rate sea and river pollution these days, this kind of robotic detection of source of pollution will make the remedial actions faster

Well, almost like a snake, if we see it more closely it is a great robot. With it we can avoid catastrophes in rivers like floods if used at large scales in engineering excellent hunting

Marvellous Hunt @dayleeo

This one is just amazing product I have came across. Everyday, I am just seeing the gadget only for humans only and this one is great for conserving our nature.

Why I think this is amazing?

• It can swim through any water surface without affecting other aquatic plants and animals lifestyle there and thus helps to balance the pond ecosystem.

• This robot can give data on pollutants present in water very accurately and fastly than human investigations.

• The most exciting is that this autonomous guy can just save biologists or researchers time and efforts.

great hunt. I am afraid of the robot being toxic in future. I recommend not to put more robots with biosensors in water. fun. really awesome hunt. we are having less access the things under water. If it is a small thing which produce toxic, then we are helpless to find it. But now this eel will heal.

the advantages of this small robot have a mechanical combination and also BIO SENSOR. This bio sensor consists of bacteria, crustaceans and fish cells that are FOUND directly on the sensor that tells them if there is something toxic in the water so that it can autonomously navigate to the source and warn us humans so that we can take care of it.

It's a good tool to look at the ecosystem in the water. When you look at dangerous places, you can't go in there, so you'll see fewer accidents. It looks like the design needs complementing. It is expected to be more successful if the appearance is similar to the animal.

A self-navigating robo-sea-snake that helps us know about something harmful or disastrous ahead of time through its sensors...this is too good to be true idea. I think if it's modified and improved to use it on a larger scale, it can also help us decrease the death toll caused by shark kills. Great hunt!

This in itself is amazing, but it'll be really interesting to see where this tech can go.

Theoretically, there could be a version of this which searches for a particular polutant in the water, and treats it (with something to fight/negate the polutant) at its source. One alone wouldn't make a dent, but an army of them would - if you released 10k, 100k, or a million of them into a large body of water, and they all worked together, they could "clean-up" the water.

It's tech like this, which might be at the forefront to cleaning up the mess we are, and have been creating - and might allow us to actually fight back against the damage we've already done to our environment.

Or am I being too optimistic?
