We inform about it, in the last section of "How do you sign up?" above and in one of our updates where we have lowered the vote from a full vote to max. 0.05 (made for large members)
But maby we could be more clear about it, sorry.
We can´t turn this off for single members, that would not be fair either.
So if you can´t spare that vote, you have to deregister :-/

I love the idea, and will be back... I just need to get my VP back up to a manageable level, and so need to "take a temporary leave of absence".
P.S. If I dereg, will any outstanding votes due to me still be sent on my next post? i.e. or should I make a post, wait for the upvotes and then dereg or lose the banked votes?
