Conflicts of Interests - As a Steem Witness - it is better not to be a Blurt Witness

Recently, I have to admit that I wanted to start a Blurt witness after @jacobgadikian replied me:

However, after second thoughts, I decided not to do so. I even have the witness server ready, and managed to sync the blurt blocks with the help from @ericet and @blurtdev

I was told that I could do this using my alt account - to hide the real identity. But I tend not to so this either. I think witnesses are better setting as a good example for the community. Letting people know who you are is a good start.

Conflicts of Interests

Blurt doesn't copy the contents from #steem but still it is considered as a competitior of #steem (and in some sense, both chains share some open-source code). Thus the conflicts of interests stand, for witnesses.

It is a pity that I decide not to be a blurt witness - but I do hope good things happen to both chains.

Blurt - you have my full respects because when you started the chain, you started with Block 1!
