Come Run With Me #2

Today I had two main reasons to go for my run.

Reason number one was because like I said before, I freaking LOVE ❤️ running 🏃🏼.

Reason number 2?

I participate in the "You vs The Year" challenge through MapMyRun. The goal is to run 1017 Kilometers within 1 calendar year. 1017 for 2017, cute, huh?

Anyhow, I looked and saw that if I ran today i would not only hit the 600 km mark but it would be my 100th (Not counting the handful of treadmill runs) of the year!

So I got ready

I decided to run to and in Lenox Park

Lenox Park is located in Buckhead which is a sub city inside of Atlanta, Ga. Atlanta has a good deal of green space considering it's a major city. Lenox Park isn't a huge park but it has some really cool features.

My husband found this park first on a run, he knew I would love it because of this phone booth. I love the shit out of both Doctor Who and Superman.

Today's run was a great run overall, tried to take it kind of easy since race day is this Saturday.

I hit 600km AND my 100th run (GPS tracked)! Yay!

The humidity was there as always and created a sweaty mess of me but the endorphins were flowing.

At home I remembered to stretch. My hip has been feeling a bit tight so I made sure to do what I call the ballerina stretch.

Let's not forget the hamstrings!

amazing! Keep running! I am sure you will reach that goal and many more!!

Thank you! We will see what happens tomorrow! Not fast but not last. LOL. I have a pace goal but not a placement or a PR goal. 4miles is an odd race distance. :) image

Enjoy!
