We all are for not thinking of this.
One of the biggest questions of this time of year is, "What should I do with my dead Christmas tree?"
Fly! Fly! Be free! (From Giphy)
The longer you keep it, the longer you have a huge fire risk sitting in the middle of your living room right next to your $3000 entertainment system.
I don't know about you, our garbage collectors aren't too keen on tossing hundreds of giant trees in the back of their trucks.
You could chop it up, but that takes effort.
How about releasing it back into the wild so it can live out its last few days surrounded by all of its friends?
Well one genius in California has the answer.
Return the dead tree to Costco where you bought it!
Brilliant!!!!
According to this ABC "News" story, on January 4th, a woman in Santa Clarita California entered a local Costco. She proceeded to the customer service area and informed them she would like to return her Christmas tree because it was dead.
Shockingly, Costco honored the return and gave the woman her money back.
Remember to keep your receipts next year!
