Despite the fact that the waste of nerve cells is a normal part of our life, constant stress lowers productivity, hurts physical and emotional health. Therefore, it is important to keep stress in check.

Fortunately, each of us can limit and control it. Of course, this is easier to do when professional activities are enjoyable. Hence the first rule:

Choose a suitable profession. Work can be a real pain when you do it out of the way. But the joy of completing tasks that you enjoy extinguishes stress. Positive emotions reduce it to a minimum, the tension becomes less and no longer affects us destructively.

Prepare to work more carefully. We feel calmer and more confident when we do what we are good at. Prepare to work to reduce your stress levels. Keep learning and stay tuned to the industry in which you work. The world and the economy are constantly changing, whatever you do, keep your finger on the pulse of these changes.

Find the source of stress. To effectively deal with the stress that accompanies us at work, it is important to identify which situations, events or people cause strong negative emotions. Thanks to this knowledge, you can avoid stress or better resist it.

Maintain good relationships with colleagues. The level of stress that accompanies us in the workplace largely depends on the atmosphere prevailing there. Try to build good relationships with your coworkers . To do this, develop your communication skills. And when expressing your opinion, do not offend or oppress the interlocutor.

Organize your workplace. Clutter creates a stressful atmosphere. Remember how many times you were nervous because you could not find that one in a pile of papers or frantically fingered pens in search of a writer. An organized work desk is a guarantee of inner peace. Make sure you only have the things and documents you need on it. Arrange everything neatly on the shelves and finally throw away the pens that no longer write.

Make your workplace as pleasant as possible, especially if you work in an open space . Bring your favorite mug, put a flower in a pot on the table, photographs of loved ones, a souvenir from a trip ... Familiar and favorite objects evoke pleasant associations and allow us to forget about what annoys and depresses us at work.

Focus on one thing. Performing multiple tasks at the same time can be notoriously depressing. It seems that he is constantly busy, but there is no result. Or it's full of mistakes and you have to redo everything. Human operative memory is not capable of holding too much information at the same time. Therefore, it is much more effective to focus on one thing and complete tasks in sequence. Immediately notice how the tension decreases.

Move. With any, even the weakest, physical activity, a powerful release of joy hormones is released into the bloodstream, which can improve mood almost instantly. A short walk around the office can relieve a stressful situation.

Laugh. Feel that the tension is growing - laugh heartily. So immediately a funny story is unlikely to pop up in memory, but you can joke with colleagues or, in extreme cases, turn on YouTube.

And remember: whoever wants is looking for opportunities. The rest are experiencing stress ... I believe that you will succeed!
