End or the Beginning?

I enjoy and love to see anything that is in perfect harmony. That's what attracts me to these Corridors. In spiritual terms if we think about these Corridors, it signifies our passage from this world to the another one. In this life itself it will mean a transition from one phase of life to another. A corridor is a passage with a limited area and there are openings at intervals or towards the end and the beginning. In our dreams if we see a corridor, it has multiple meanings. I do not want to get into that as of today, because it would get too intense. But yes, in short it fascinates me. I can keep watching them for hours together.

These pictures that I have clicked of various corridors are over a period of time during my visits to different places. In the olden times even, some big homes used to have corridors or passage ways. Some of them were artistically fancy and some simpler ones.

Last month when my niece visited me and we were going around, I was busy clicking pictures and they were looking out for me. At that time my niece commented saying look for her in the corridor, she will surely be there...hahaha, and I was found there :-)

This is one of my favorite ones. This particular one is outside of the Sultan's Palace here in Muscat city near the Courtyard there are 2 long corridors. During the evening time youngsters gather here and play some instruments. This one connects very deeply with me, every time I see, it makes me feel something beyond life.

What do you feel when you look at this one. Somehow, I get goosebumps when I look at this one. I feel this one a little restricting one unlike the first one where I feel open and free.

This particular one from one end if you look at it feels like it's end of the road and darkness and from the other end if you look at it then it feels like beginning of new leading to light.

For each one of them the head panels have some very interesting designs which gives the show to these corridors. I become a little philosophical over certain things in life and this is one of them.
