1000 DAYS OF STEEM - The Diary Game - 22/08/2020: My first 1000 Followers! - I miei primi 1000 Followers! [ENG-ITA]

Hello everyone!

Today a Diary dedicated to a little event concerning my activity on Steemit.

To tell the truth, it wasn't even the only one of the week. A few days ago, in fact, I wrote my post number 300, while yesterday I crossed another nice milestone on the platform and I want to share it with you all.

I really wanted to hit it because it wasn't easy to get there.

And so I'm very happy to announce that I have reached 1000 followers!!

On other social networks, followers are very important because they denote the weight of a channel or account and, consequently, the success it is obtaining.

Here on Steemit it’s a bit different, because followers are not just readers or viewers, but also authors who propose their content, and the most important factors are the votes and Steem Power.

But it is also true that interaction and the ability to establish relationships are essential in order to make oneself known to an ever wider audience, to organize projects and collaborations.

Another substantial difference concerns the target we have here to attract new users and investors to introduce the world of cryptocurrencies and the opportunities to earn them that a platform like Steemit offers.

YouTube, to give a practical example, certainly doesn’t need to attract new users...and followers have a unit value that allows to obtain monetization, as well as with subscriptions, with simple views or comments.

On the Steem blockchain and in general on all platforms similar to this one, the logic is totally opposite, because each user has his own specific weight and sometimes only one follower is enough to equal the value of 1000 or 10000 accounts.

Another aspect to consider is the loyalty of the public, which is relative here, as there may be followers who have never given a vote and users who, while not following that account, constantly support it. On YouTube, to take the example above, the base of comments, views and likes is certainly made up of those who follow the channel, also thanks to notifications and a series of algorithms that make the contents that interest the user more visible.

It’s clear that we are talking about two different worlds, with different catchment areas and targets, but I am convinced that we should take inspiration from this type of way to improve some of our mechanisms that are not yet fully effective.

Having said that, I repeat once again that I am very happy to have managed to reach this number and I believe it is a satisfactory starting point.

I wanted to tag all my 1000 followers here at the bottom of the post to thank them one by one.

Within this long list there are bots, inactive accounts, old friends who have not heard from for a while and others who are operational and present.

A special mention for @emilysarahi, my 1000th follower! Thank you for helping me reach this milestone but, I also have to make a note...why weren't you following me yet? 😁

Buongiorno a tutti!

Oggi un Diario dedicato ad un piccolo evento che riguarda la mia attività su Steemit.

A dire il vero non è stato neanche l’unico della settimana. Pochi giorni fa, infatti, ho scritto il mio post numero 300, mentre ieri ho tagliato un altro bel traguardo sulla piattaforma e voglio condividerlo con tutti voi.

Ci tenevo molto a centrarlo perché non è stato facile arrivarci.

E così sono molto felice di annunciarvi che ho raggiunto i 1000 followers!!

Sugli altri social network, i followers sono importantissimi perché denotano il peso di un canale o di un account e, di conseguenza, il successo che sta ottenendo.

Qui su Steemit è un po’ diverso, perché i followers non sono solo lettori o spettatori, ma anche autori che propongono i loro contenuti, e i fattori più importanti sono i voti e lo Steem Power.

Ma è anche vero che è essenziale l’interazione e la capacità di instaurare rapporti per farsi conoscere da una platea sempre più ampia, per organizzare progetti e collaborazioni.

Altra differenza sostanziale riguarda l’obiettivo che abbiamo qui di richiamare utenti nuovi e investitori per far conoscere il mondo delle criptovalute e le possibilità di guadagnarle che una piattaforma come Steemit offre.

YouTube, per fare un esempio pratico, non ha certo bisogno di attirare nuovi utenti...e i followers hanno un valore unitario che permette di ottenere una monetizzazione, oltre che con le iscrizioni, con le semplici visualizzazioni o con i commenti.

Sulla blockchain di Steem e in generale su tutte le piattaforme simili a questa, la logica è totalmente opposta, perché ogni utente ha il suo peso specifico e a volte basta un solo follower per eguagliare il valore di 1000 o 10000 account.

Altro aspetto da considerare è la fidelizzazione del pubblico, che qui è relativa, in quanto possono esserci followers che non hanno mai dato un voto e utenti che, pur non seguendo quell’account, lo supportano costantemente. Su YouTube, per riprendere l’esempio di prima, la base di commenti, visualizzazioni e likes è sicuramente costituita da chi segue il canale, anche grazie alle notifiche e ad una serie di algoritmi che rendono più visibili i contenuti che interessano all’utente.

È chiaro che parliamo di due mondi diversi, con differenti bacini d’utenza e target, ma sono convinto che dovremmo prendere spunto da questo tipo di modalità per migliorare alcuni dei nostri meccanismi ancora non pienamente efficaci.

Detto questo, ripeto ancora una volta che sono molto felice di essere riuscito ad arrivare a questa quota e credo che sia un punto di partenza soddisfacente.

Ho voluto taggare tutti i miei 1000 followers qui in fondo al post per ringraziarli uno ad uno.

Dentro questa lunga lista ci sono bot, account inattivi, vecchi amici che non sento da un po’ e altri che invece sono operativi e presenti.

Una menzione speciale per @emilysarahi, la mia follower numero 1000! Grazie per avermi aiutato a raggiungere questo traguardo ma, devo farti anche un appunto...come mai non mi seguivi ancora? 😁
