Do you feel lost? – I’m calling you back home. A reading meditation.

Take a deep breath in. Let the air out naturally. When your lungs are empty, take another deep breath in. Feel the air going in and through your nostrils, filling up your lungs to the maximum capacity. Let the air out slowly. Have you ever tried to take a breath in your lover abdomen, deep in your belly area? Do it now, breathe in and let your belly rise. Fill yourself up with the oxygen. Now slowly breathe out. Breathe deep in your belly again. This triggers your parasympathetic nervous system that shifts your focus from a daily fight-or-flight to rest-and-digest mode in which you can actually relax and just Be. Breathe out. Take a moment.

Breathe in again. I’d like you to visualize yourself in nature. Standing in a forest that smells like fresh pine and having your feet in a running water.

Maybe you’re at the beach enjoying sunset and breathing in that ocean air, hearing waves crash down on the coast.

Feel a warm breeze against your cheek, breathe in again. Stay there and imagine that you have no where to rush. You have as much time as you need. You don’t have to go anywhere, be anything or anyone really. You can just blend in with the nature and let it embrace you, heal you, hold you. Notice your environment there. What colors do you see? What sounds do you hear? What smells are there? Breathe in deeply. Feel the warmth that surrounds you. Know that you are safe. Feel free to take in this moment and relax. Exhale. Imagine your bare feet touching the ground and connecting to the very center of the earth.

Place your palms on the ground and feels it’s texture. Feel the gravitational pull towards the ground that’s holding you down, grounding you, rooting you. Earth is giving your body free electrons that energizes you, replenishes your system, heals you. You root deeper and all of a sudden you feel like you are Home. For the first time in a while you feel like you are here – in your body, on the ground, stable, safe, grounded. Surrounded by the loving force of nature that always gives you enough oxygen to breathe in, enough food to nurture your body, enough sun for your body, enough water to relieve your thirst. Feel how abundantly it gives and you just have to open yourself up to receiving. Earth is where your home is, your body is where you reside now. Feel one with the nature and know that you are not separate from it. Know deep in your belly that you are nature itself. Welcome it, embrace it and feel loved by it as it really is just a bigger part of Yourself. Welcome Home. Breathe in love. And exhale everything else.
