Meditation has many great benefits but can seem intimidating to new comers. Brainwave Entrainment, one of the most common types being Binural Beats, is an easy way to start meditating using tones played through headphones. Headphones are essential for Binural Beats because of how they work. Each ear phone plays a different tone, which creates a harmonic frequency within your brain. Your brain then adjusts it's brainwaves to this frequency, pulling you naturally into a meditative state.

The Frequencies

Delta, Theta, Alpha, Beta, Gamma, are the 5 frequency ranges the brain tunes to. Delta is the lowest below 4 Hz and occurs during dreamless sleep. Theta is up to 7 Hz and occurs during drowsiness, daydreaming, and is associated with creativity. Alpha is up to 15 Hz and your brain enters it almost immediately upon closing your eyes. It is thought to be the bridge between conscious and unconscious thought. Beta is up to 31 Hz and is associated with almost all waking activity. Gamma is 32 Hz and above and is associated with states of heightened focus, peace, joy, super concentration.

The Benefits

Over time I've found using these have helped me to be a more calm person overall. It has helped me to overcome road rage. It has helped me to accept situations in life. I highly recommend you try some out, they can be easily found on youtube, but I will link a few.
