Wanna hear a bad beat story?

The answer is of course, "No".

Hearing about someone else's poker loss is about as fun as hearing about a dream they had that they can't quite recall but they think you were in it but you were the teenage version of you and there was a horse with a hat and you both went to 7/11 but they aren't sure what for then you were at church and Rob Reiner came in.

However, every once in a while a bad beat story is so compelling that everyone wants to hear about it.

Well that was the case at last night's World Series of Poker Main Event.

10 guys sat around a table for what seemed like hours. 9 would move on to the final table and be guaranteed at least $1 million. One would not make it and have to settle for just over $800,000. So they played it super tight.

And then it happened.

Nicolas Manion was dealt a pair of Aces.

Then it happened, Antoine Labat was dealt pocket Kings. It was a dream scenario for Manion.

Then it really happened, Yueqi Zhu got dealt pocket Kings as well.

Manion could not have drawn it up any better.

Now he could have lost to a flush or a straight, but he didn't.

But could you imagine being Yueqi Zhu who lost his shot at the final table because he had the misfortune of looking down and seeing pocket Kings?

Luckily for him, he will have 800,000 ways to ease his pain.
