My 2018 - This is my Hobby: RUNNING

This story beggins on March 24 of 2016, my sister Isabel(the second) a few days ago just started going running with this group of people that used to meet every Wednesday and Saturday at the plaza Bolivar of our little town, I didn´t feel like going out on the street and run like all those… crazy runners :s, I thought it was dangerous and risky, but in this opportunity they were going to Burro Negro (Black donkey) this is a water reservoir like 30 minutes away from the town, its protected by the national guard and we made a trip there when we were at school exactly at 8th grade (like 20 years before so I thought that I would like it),

it was a very long route, I didn´t even know it was 8,3 kms long, I asked this girl next to me when we were returning and I was like shocked because I didn’t think I could make it through the end, I walked a lot, run and walked again, at the same time, I was still fighting with the terrible bad habit of smoking and I was supposed to be trying to quit, that day I really enjoyed the environment and running even though I walked a lot, I was very tired and my body was sore, I decided I could start going with them on saturdays because definitely after 4 years aprox of not doing any exercise, (the excuse was that my baby Marcela was born in 2012 and I didn´t have time or any desire of working out, going to the gym was not something I wanted to do) I completely fell in love with #running and why not starting a routine of running 5 kilometers every week, after a few months I figured some way out to go every Wednesday too, I started feeling that I wanted to run all the time, (this seems to happen very often to new runners) went to some 10k races I returned to burro negro a few times too, once I run the complete route (YES!!), we even organized several times to practice

It was almost two years ago, in fact tomorrow is my second anniversary, since that day I feel completely happy of becoming a #runner, I soooo love it, i really enjoy it, is not about becoming Usain Bolt or a kenian runner, is a certain of RELAX a ME time, a moment to MYSELF, I feel completely away from stress, is some kind of relief, today I think it´s the best thing to meet myself, enjoying the sunrise, feeling that energy from the day beginning (Because another thing is that I prefer running in the morning time exactly 6am) for me is like meditation, my passion, I changed a bad habit for a good and healthy one

At the end or april or the beginning of may 2016 I quit smoking so that’s another thing but, starting with this hobby was soo helpful to quit, long story short Running is the best!!! It´s highly recommended, and super fun while you get in shape, because your body change and you feel great because after the workout you feel full of energy and alive.

Running is a high impact sport so, is hard for your body, is very important to listen to our bodies, because this type of practice can cause injuries, the stretching I think is fundamental for taking care of our muscles, hydration and food.

I´ve been able to bring to these practice some friends and they have loved it, now we are partners in running, some girlfriends say that i´m on a sect (Just because I can´t skip one day) and it has nothing to do with somebody making me go, I just love it and before the alarm rings my eyes are already open.
