This is a special annual event where the female members of the Chiang Mai Hash, lovingly referred to as "Bunnies" organize a much larger and better planned-out event than would normally happen in their organization. Some would say they are much better at organizing their events than the male side of things are here in Chiang Mai and well, I wouldn't necessarily argue with that.
This is only the 4th time that the Cherry Breaker has been done here in Chiang Mai and in the past there have been participants from all around the world. Although the first spaces are reserved for actual women, later on in the process if all 150 slots haven't been taken up they will open it up for a few men to come along as well. Keep in mind that as a man participating in Bunny Hashes, you will be expected to wear a dress, a wig, and probably other humiliating clothing when you are in the circle. This is not required while on the trail.
The trail will consist of something between 20-25km of mostly off road terrain, but plenty of twists and turns and at least 2 bail out points along the way. If you can't hack 25k don't worry about it, most of the other people that go after this goal don't make it that far either.
By registering early you ensure that your Hash name will appear on the commemorative T-shirt and well, that is pretty special now isn't it? My own Hash Name appears on multiple shirts but I don't think it is allowed for a man's name to appear on the Bunny Hash shirt. We aren't that organized so the rules could change by the time the shirts are actually made. When you sign up you will be kept in the loop by email so any changes should be easily accommodated.
This is a once a year event, so it is kind of a good idea to get in there early if you are interested. 1000 Baht is only around $33 so it isn't like they are breaking the bank here. Honestly, they are probably losing money because if there is one thing I know about HHH, budgeting is not our strong suit.
