Up to the by-pass

I stretched my route again today, pushed further up and then along the by-pass. Not a great place to be running, I expect, next to late rush-hour traffic, but most of it is fenced off.

It's just a long way. 6.6km is the furthest I've run before and today was the same. Towards the end I was counting off the next little bit that I would run to. Just to this corner. Just to the station entrance. Just through the underpass. etc. Finally, "just to the postbox" turned out to be true. If I'd gone on to the "proper" end of my run where I'd finished, I might have broken 7km but as it was I just couldn't go any further.

So another new experience. And glad that I got out two days after parkrun. I'm aiming now to go every other day.
