Sold out! Two and a half months in advance

Now that’s something to make a race director smile.

The WUU2K(Wellington Urban Ultra) sold out today and there is still two and a half months to go until the race.

That’s awesome. It just goes to show how the race has grown over the last two years. This is only the third year it will be run and it is already proving to be a popular race.

The first race had around 135 finishers. 2017 saw that number rise to about 186.

The entry numbers this year is capped at 300, so it looks like I’ll be lining up with 300 other mad buggers in the middle of July ready to pound my way around 62kms of the biggest, baddest hills in Wellington.

I’m seriously looking forward to it.
