Video proof of my dubious sanity

in sports •  7 years ago

As I mentioned in a previous post, I did a possibly not quite sane thing this weekend.

Following on from my 60km race last weekend, I ran for 40km on technical trails this weekend – for fun.

You can check out the video below and judge my sanity for yourself.

Never have truer words been spoken.

Yup. hehehe

Do you watch your caloric intake or do you just run on nuclear fusion?

It's a bit weird. I eat whatever my wife tells me to eat (It make for a much more peaceful home life ;-))

She also makes me homemade gels that she has done the calorie counting for. So I don't really pay attention to my diet so much.

The scary thing is I'm still losing weight, and there's not a lot left of me now, so I'll have to pay a bit more attention to it.

I think the solution might be - add more beer. At least that's what I'm going to try hehehe

1 liter a day right after the run haha. Punches you right in the soul and into paradise

Every day is a good day when you run.

Thanks

You did more km in two races that most people in one year :D

I never looked at it like that before... thanks. That's very encouraging.

Wow, respect!! That's hardcore..
I loved the whole video, also the part with the horses :)))

Thanks. it didn't feel hardcore, just hard hehehe.

It was so hot that the horse just wouldn't move. The poor things were suffering a bit. that part of the hill gets full afternoon sun and it is stinking hot there. Too hot for me to run, so I walked up that side of it.
