Sweet Treats

Are you a sweet lover? Then this one is exactly for you, a feast for the eyes. Yesterday a friend of mine invited me to her home for evening tea and she had this sweet spread out. She had invited me and some other ladies also. She had ordered these sweets from a lady who makes them at home. When I saw the presentation firstly I could not believe that they were home made. I thought she had ordered it from a Pastry shop.

I am not a fan of sugar and I avoid it as much as possible, but looking at these I was very tempted to try all of them out. Forcefully I stopped myself to having one of each, they were so delicious that I was feeling greedy to have it more, but then I just closed my eyes and said no it's enough.

The best I liked was this Chocolate Mouse pastries. They were so soft and immediately melting in the mouth

These strawberry tarts were also a big delight

This is called the Shoe pastry. I have never had anything like this before. Just wow

Honestly I cannot say which one is the best. All of them were unique and so flavorful. Just the Macarons were the one which I did not enjoy much, but that does not mean they were not delicious. It's just that I do not have a taste for it. Yesterday I had my sweet quota finished for the month. Now for the next couple of weeks I have to be very mindful of my sweet consumption.
