Shrimp Tempura Fresh Roll

Another new exotic appetizer from my kitchen. A fresh roll is always serve with a dipping sauce. either spicy or a little tangy and sweet. This fresh roll won't need any dipping sauce, you will taste savory smoothness in every bite.

All you need is gather some ingredients, baby spinach, basil, carrot cut in a long stripes, cucumber (use a piller to cut thin), fresh roll wrap, fresh jumbo shrimp (clean and and make it straight by make a cut bottom and top), vegetable oil to fry and tempura batter.

You can make tempura batter from all purpose flour, cold chicken broth or beer, salt, pepper, a little bit of baking soda. Note, no need baking soda if are using beer.

Dip the shrimp into the batter and fry in a hot oil, then set it a side and let it cool. Dip the fresh roll wrapper into water, then wrap in all ingredients. Enjoy.

This is new for me but I try to make.

Rice wraps are delicious. I haven't had them for a while though. But I have a couple bags of shrimp in my fridge. Will cook them up soon.

Shrimp such an easy ingredient that will go a long with almost anything, enjoy!
