This is an excellent appetizer I found in recent days. Bake soft and tasty yeast dough cakes. Serve them with soups and main courses, or as a snack.
Cooking time 20 minutes.
Ingredients
- Dry fast-acting yeast 1½ tsp
- Water 240 ml
- Flour 270-280 g
- Salt 1 tsp
- Sugar 2 tsp
- Olive oil 2 tbsp. spoons + for lubrication
- Butter 80 g
- Ground dried garlic 1-2 tbsp. spoons
- Cheese 150-200 g
- Greens 1 bundle
Preparation
one. Mix yeast with warm water and leave for 5-10 minutes.
2 ․ Combine the sifted flour with salt and sugar. Pour in the yeast mixture along with the olive oil and knead to a soft dough. Cover the bowl of dough with a napkin and leave at room temperature for 35-40 minutes.
3 ․ Knead the dough and roll into one large or more small tortillas. Place on a greased baking sheet.
four. Brush the flatbreads with melted butter. Sprinkle with garlic, coarsely grated cheese and chopped herbs on top.
five. Bake for about 15-20 minutes at 175-180 ° C.
