What are the advantages and disadvantages of parents strict behaviour? |

Children are the most precious in our life, when they are little they absorb all information around them, they know exactly what to do to get what they want. Have you ever noticed the kids who are starting to cry loudly if they want something for example in shop and they are told "No"? That is a disaster for any parent, because everyone will look at you and think that you definitely have no control over your child but the child has a control despite of being just 2 or 3 y.o. they may win of you do not have a strong character or you ashamed and want your child to be quite.
For a child that is a sign that he can reach what he wants with such action and the next time he will try again and again, the older they get the worse it will be.
On other hand when you are strict with your children since their young age and know that no matter how loud they are you just remain strong and do not change your opinion, they the child will know that it will not help and will try not to do that anymore and get change his tactic and maybe to try to do what needs to be done and he might get what he wants.
That definitely will make the life of parents easier in the future.
What do you feel if you were at the place of such children who have to face strictness? |

I remember when we were in school, we had very strict teacher who made sure that children do not come late to the classes. While the teaching pupils had to be quiet and listen and not to chat to each other. Also, homework was very important to do in time and do not re-write from someone often it was easy to recognise that if there were some mistakes then the person who copied the work had the same mistakes.
I am glad that I had such strict school and my parent, often we do not appreciate that but we realise that later when we are grown up.

As to me my wishes for my parents were:
- to spend at least few hours a day with us playing and being childish
- to be there for hug, this is something every child love to have a cuddle
- to have a Good-night story before falling asleep
- to comfort when it is necessary
- to listen and to answer questions even if you have no idea

The metal health of child is very important, everything that happens in their childhood and during growing up may form an individual. It may lead to psychologically handicapped personality who will not be able to be a part of society and is not able to communicate with others. Those people may not be able to have any relationship or have a fmaily. It is important to recognise such situation as early as possible and to get a specialist help in time to prevent the worse thing and maybe to help the individual to find themselves and to have a chance of being a part of society.

The children are clever they can feel what we, the parents think and what mood we are, often mother is more softer and father is stricter and that is something that is usually in families around the world.
I am glad that majority children are grown up polite and listen to hteir parents :)

Your post is awesome as usual, I love it alot. Is good you had a very strict teacher and parents as they have all made you what you are today. Acting strict do helps alot as it makes children disciplined and respectful.

There are many qualities that we can teach our children when they are young and we are all growing and learning every day. The strict but fair treatment of children is very important to make them confident and strong individuals.

I wasn't a strict mum - because I remember how big my own rebellion (rejection) against rules and prohibitions used to be. It still is today. But there is probably no right way for everyone. Two of my children later thanked me for their childhood in relative freedom and self-determination. One son would have coped better in a protective framework of routines and rules. And in every family, the right relationship between upbringing and friendship is renegotiated, I suspect...

Yes, every family adopt their own rules, fitting more or less better to their environment. Actually the characters of our children could differ from each other and from the children of others too, so there is no magic solution. I believe the right thing is to listen and observe them and do what is thought to be right. You are lucky that your children appreciated your treat during their childhood and youth :)

Wow ! How beautifully you have expressed your thoughts. Of course, if children want to get their point across by making noise, then it is important to teach children that all these things should not be used to get the work done and certainly not by adopting the wrong path. They will have to make efforts to get their point across and that too with values. Children should not be insisted on everything. Due to this, children become spoiled and they understand that if they want to achieve anything then they have to insist a lot. Due to this, children move towards negativity and parents have to face embarrassment. have a nice day.

We all love our children and to tell the truth they make our life happier and turn us into children too, but still often we forget that we are not their friends but parents which is often hard but it is should be done on early stage so that then it is easy for both side later.

You expressed yourself so beautifully. Also the art you make is really on another artistic level . I also make arts but still i have to travel a long way to reach upto this level .
I also feel that the mental health of little children is very very important because the mind of youngsters is like a clean .. unwritten paper on which the impact really lasts forever. Parents think that children will forget there wrong behaviors and doings but this doesn't happen . Rather they print all of that trauma on the clean paper of their child forever.

Yes, sometimes spoiled children can drive us adults crazy, but often later on many realise that and we often have a laugh about the childhood time when we are then adults.

You have discussed some positive sides and some negative sides of the script behaviour of parents and I totally agree with you that when parents get rude with their children then it gives a personal satisfaction and empowerment to parents but many times it don't affect their kids because their kids feel that their parents just hate them but on the other hand as a result of polite behaviour of their parents they try to understand feelings of their parents and try to obey them. It is always a dilemma how much freedom we should give to our children and when we have to be more stricter. Teenager time is the most hard, but it seems that all children go through that time when they test parents nerves. I am glad that our son has passed that moment. Thank you for reading :)

I totally agree with you sir that teenager time is very tough so my advice for parents is that they should be very balanced with behaviour that the show with their children and they should give some free hand to their children as well as they should be a little bit strict to their children where strictness is justified.
