Steem engagement challenge-s7/w6 | My nostalgic childhood memories.

When we talk about childhood there are so many things and memories that comes to our mind. Our whole childhood is full of memories, some sweet and some bitter. But it's best to forget the bitter ones and go ahead with the sweet ones.

The fond memories that I have from my childhood times are spending time with my cousin sister. We both were close to each other more than our own siblings and we were very fond of each other. My childhood was very simple, it never had anything much special or fancy. It was regular schooling away from home which I would not like it much and during vacation our time was split in 2 places, where majority of my time I would spend with my dad and some days of the vacation I would spend at my Granny's place. These few days all of us cousins would be together at our Granny's place and we had total freedom, because we were all free with our Granny who would not interfere much in whatever we would be doing. Granny was a very soft hearted lady so she would never shout or get angry at us.

We would spend late hours playing in the evening with friends in the society garden. Our Granny would call us home and we would just pastor her to allow us to play for longer time and she would agree. I got along the most with my Cousin sister and we would keep sneaking out all the time and then have our own fun time. If Granny would need anything at home we would instantly get ready to bring it and then both of us would stroll around and come back in our own sweet time. Our gossips would never get over. We would sleep together and till late night keep giggling until we would get a shout from Granny to sleep. These few days of the year were the most carefree days, we would have to do no homework or studies, all the time was play time without any restrictions. Granny would make good food for us whatever we liked so that was another plus point of being with her. She would make special dishes for us, till date I can remember there are few dishes which only she made and after she is gone we have never had them, so it is a big loss for us. She would make us all sit on the floor and equally distribute the food to us in dishes. All of these was so much joy and this time will never ever come back to us.

I do not have any childhood picture with her at this moment but recently when she visited me here in Muscat we clicked loads of picture and also relived some of our childhood days

This is a picture when for the first time we had both worn a saree. We were teenagers then.

I would not want to change a bit of any of these times, they were the best moments of my childhood times and some sweetest memories to look back and fondly remember those times.
