How to Completely Overcome The Fear of Feeling RejectedsteemCreated with Sketch.

People are afraid of losing their lives, their health, their social status, their money, the people they love, and their youth. People are also afraid of losing their youth. And why not, even the acknowledgement of other people. The majority of people do, in fact, have a strong desire to establish their identity within a group.

Seek this security in yourself, not in others, as the look, words, or actions of others can easily be distorted and misinterpreted as rejection, even when they are not being rejected in reality. Do not look for security in others because it is a dead end; seek this security in yourself, not in others.

Look deep within yourself and consider the effect that a possible rejection can have on the way you behave and the things you do; to put it another way, if you believe that you will be rejected, it is likely that you will be. You won't be able to adjust your behaviour until you have a solid understanding of what's happening; make an effort to pick up signals not only of what's going wrong, but also of what's going right.

The person who is experiencing feelings of rejection is incapable of considering anything else; even though they don't want to feel this way, they can't stop thinking about the reasons why they were rejected. This is a poor mentality and a problem that needs to be fixed as soon as possible; instead of focusing on the fact that you don't want to be rejected, try to find a relaxed state in which you feel confident. This will help you feel more in control of the situation.

During your time in school, you must have had the experience of being rejected. Close your eyes and reflect on everything you have discovered about yourself and the world since that time. Think about how at ease and free from the fear of being rejected this child was, and how your adult self can learn from this child to be in control and to reassure themselves that everything will be all right.

Thinking about how you felt when you were a kid has a huge impact and will help you get through this difficult time, even though it might seem strange at first.

You can change how you feel and how you behave in situations that would normally make you feel insecure by simply closing your eyes and using your imagination. When you are in an emotionally altered state, hypnosis has the potential to directly influence how you are feeling, which can have an effect on the thought processes.

Those who never call their own beliefs into question make life more challenging for themselves. Don't put too much stock in what will occur or what you already know; this will allow you to loosen up and think about the possibility of either positive or negative outcomes without the need to rule out either possibility. The ability to trust and to take pleasure in life requires a lack of knowledge.
