@steevc - It's great to get a lunchtime run in and your views make it doubly worthwhile. Is there a Park Run near you? You should try and run tomorrow if there is. My local one is the Wimbledon Park Run. Have a good day.

Actually one started in Letchworth a couple of weeks back. I plan to run it tomorrow

@steevc - How did you get on? I hope you had a good run. I came in 82nd position out of 375 in the Wimbledon Park Run on Saturday. Have a great week. πŸ‘

I was 107th out of 151,but the cycle ride there took it out of me. I hope to do better next time

@steevc - Yes, if possible conserve as much energy as you can getting there. Participation is the main objective and then set your mind on gradual improvement . You're definitely on your way. πŸ‘

@steevc - Cool. Have a good run tomorrow. πŸ‘

The view like this makes the run worthwhile! Even if it was only just above freezing. I actually prefer colder weather if I have to choose between summer hot and winter cold. But soon spring will come: the best time for running! Take care!

I find I get warm enough when it's freezing. In summer you just can't cool down

Exactly! :)

Nice work. Running out in a park or common ground is always more fun than dodging cars.

The only problem here is that to do that, first I have to run up huge hills - so running in traffic I go.. hehe

Great run Steve, congrats. It is always good to be able to get away from work and traffic and all the hectic.

I assume it was freezing enough that there was no mud?

Happy running :)

Oh there was mud, but not too deep

Crank up the volume

That was on my mind. I like to work song lyrics into my posts

I would think country runs are better that town runs, not that I run as I can barely walk lol good luck on your next run :)

Impressive speed! Looks like a nice area for a jog.
