The NBA's collective reaction to Paul George re-signing in OKC.
Giphy
The Thunder (a team that lost in the first round of the playoffs last year) is set to break the record for highest luxury tax paid by over $50 million. That's right, with the signing of Paul George they are set to pay over $140 million in TAX. That is in addition to over $120 million in salary.
They can't sign anyone. They don't have any pieces to trade. And it is a small market where Paul George will be over shadowed by the stat gobbler Russel Westbrook.
What was he thinking?
He got $137 million.
Good thought.
