How Yoga is useful for teenagers today

The transition period between childhood and adulthood is very challenging. Today, in the period of fast moving life, adolescents have to face many challenges, due to which health related problems start to arise within them. Yoga is very helpful to avoid these diseases due to excessive pressure.

If the teenager incorporates 30–40 minutes of yoga practice into their daily routine, then many troubles begin to end by themselves. If they practice a certain routine and certain discipline in daily life, then the troubles will gradually end themselves. Waking up early in the morning, sleeping early at night will be included in their daily routine.

Yoga reduces stress. It also reduces the risk of depression. Some yoga practices like Bhastrika Pranayama, Surya Namaskar, some fast paced exercises are helpful in relieving stress, depression.

Overeating invites obesity and may also be related to the imbalance of hormones. Polycystic ovarian syndrome continues to grow, appearing before adolescence begins in girls. This disorder is characterized by obesity, irregular menstruation, and excessive hair on the face. Proper eating, adequate physical activity and positive mental aptitude can correct imbalances of adolescent girls and boys who do yoga.

The cause of anxiety is related to behavior. Yoga exercises (especially pranayama) have a calming effect on the mind. The mindset of the adolescent or seeker gradually starts to balance. In a situation of extreme stress in the mind, due to high pressure from parents, excessive expectations from their children, depression begins to develop in the youth.

Some people start using drugs because of it. If the youth comes to the shelter of yoga by not getting intoxicated, then it reduces anxiety and depression.

Yoga helps young people to be physically healthy, balanced in balance. Eliminate stress, anxiety and depression with yoga.
