Imagine you are at the top of a mountain, walking in the field of flowers with many different kinds of sweet and fruity fragrance of floral or sitting and watching the best view of lake Tuolumne.
Table Mountain Trail is near Jamestown, California, created by lava and leaving a beautiful rock formation that's surrounded by spectacular landscape especially from the top. If you are looking for the million dollar view, then this is the place.

If your car isn't 4 wheels drive, then you have to park by the first gate and the parking place is very limited too. It will take 20 minutes to walk to the second gate, then another 35 minutes to hike to the top. The trail will get tougher and a bit harder toward the end but definitely worth it and will fill our satisfaction.
Starting with this rough, rocky and uneven trail to magnificent scenery of wild flowers with unforgettable landscape down below.
A cave just few minutes walk by the entrance, I don't think people will dare to go in.
Nothing to complain about. Seeing this overlook especially after you are tired, you will forget you just hiked up and used almost your entire energy.

On the way home we stopped by lake Toulomne, not only for some pictures and to enjoy its beauty but also wanted to let my son just wade his feet for a bit but the water was too cold.

It is such an amazing place indeed @lugina and I can just dream on going there. I liked the flowers along the trek and I guess that it is better to go there at spring time and near summer time too :D

Wow, what an amazing place and well written. Your first part telling me to imagine I'm in a field of flowers reminds me of a recent blog post of my own. I found exactly that on a motor bike adventure out here in Thailand.
I'm from the east coast by the way, up-state New York. I've been all over the world but not much time traveling my own country. I hear California is really beautiful, it's apparent by your photos. I will have to go on an adventure one day out there, but for now I'm in Thailand and it's pretty good place to be all things being equal.
