2개월전 처음으로 [이벤트? 프로젝트?] 미국오면 꼭 연락해~~! 를 시작하였습니다.

지난달에는 [이벤트? 프로젝트?] 미국오면 꼭 연락해~~! 2탄 을 올렸구요.

한국에는 Kr 스티미언들의 많은 밋업들이 있습니다.
해외에 거주하는 저같은 스티미언들을 한국을 방문해야만 밋업 참석이 가능하지요...
그래서 공간적인, 시간적인 제약을 극복해 보고자 이렇게라도 원격 밋업을 해볼까 합니다.
미국에 여행이나 출장 오신 분들은 현재 미국 방문 중인 인증 포스팅을 올려 주시면 밋업하는 마음으로 차 한잔, 밥 한끼 대접하고 싶습니다.

제가 미국 땅에 처음 발을 디딘 것은 2000년 9월 학회 참석을 위한 출장이었습니다.
출장지는 워싱턴 DC 와 올랜도였구요.
워싱턴 DC에서 혼자만의 여가시간에 방문한 곳이 바로 스미소니언 박물관이었습니다.
이렇게 좋은 전시물들이 있는 이 모든 박물관들이 다 무료라니 감탄을 금할 수 없었죠.
'미국에서 살아야겠다' '결혼해서 아이가 생기면 미국에서 키워야겠다' 싶었습니다.
그리고는 2001년에 미국에 왔고, 2011년에 드디어 아이들을 데리고 워싱턴 DC에 다시 갔었습니다^^
참으로 가슴 따듯해지는 프로젝트 군요. ^^

죄송합니다. 제가 아직 플랑크톤이라서 댓글을 어디서 확인하는지 이제서야 알았습니다. 저는 게인스빌에 13년까지 있다가 지금은 보스턴에 있습니다. 신혼생활이랑 유학생활을 동시에 게인스빌에서 시작해서.. 거기가 고향 같아요. 월말에 안그래도 애들 봄방학을 맞아 내려가려고 합니다. : )
