Kimchi
Kimchi is a traditional Korean side dish that I'm sure you have definitely heard of even if you are not familiar with Korean cuisine. Let me clarify, though, in case you've never heard of it.
Kimchi is a classic Korean dish. It is a dish that dates back to the 7th century and is considered to be among the world's most enduring and nutritious cuisines. Although there are many types of kimchi, they all have a similar texture and flavor that may be characterized as crunchy, sweet, tangy, and spicy. Because of how spicy it can get, it can really be challenging to taste.
This traditional fermented cabbage dish is typically served as an accompaniment to breakfast, lunch, and dinner. In addition, kimchi is a common base for many Korean main dishes. These days, nearly two thirds of Koreans eat kimchi every day. Now that's a lot of Kimchi!
