One may feel like temptations are always around, but sticking to a routine helps keep one safe. Keeping to a plan can help you be healthier and happier. People are happier and more effective when they put self-care first. When you have too many things to do, you might feel overwhelmed and stressed.

To follow Jesus, you have to be aware of things and people that might make you act in a way that is not good. Praying can also help you stay away from bad things. Remember not to take other people's actions to heart when they try to get you to do things that go against your values.

Getting rid of as many temptations as you can at home could help you stay healthy and take care of yourself. You might be able to lose weight if you keep temptations out of sight. That includes foods and treats that are bad for you. Keep sweets out of your reach if you want to lose weight.

Less time in front of a screen could help you avoid temptations. Limiting access to adult websites might be a good idea. There are also apps that control and handle how people use the internet. Avoid places where people use drugs and drink. Avoid clubs and window shopping when you want to.

Appreciate and recognise that people have different thoughts and differences. It might be worth thinking about the problems that come with being friends with someone who often tempts you.

During hard times, it's normal to want something right away. Even though you can't always control what other people do, you can make choices that put your well-being first and avoid situations that could hurt your ability to take care of yourself.

Instant happiness may lead to sorrow. When we sometimes give in to our wants, it may be a sign that we need to work on our self-discipline. This could hurt critical thought by making it harder to see the big picture.

This could make it hard to make good decisions and plans. We might feel empty after a moment of happiness, which can lead to long-term sadness.
