Rest certain that we all have a modest amount of shyness within us. It can be more or less marked depending on the setting, whether it be professional, friendly, or even personal interaction.
This aspect of our Inner Child is the part of ourselves that either does not know how to accomplish it or does not have the courage to do it. A wake, an imprint, and even a wound were left in the psyche of the tiny one that we were as a result of the disapproval, the reprimands, and the raised voices.
It is difficult for trust to establish itself and flourish in this vulnerable soil. The current manifestation of this childlike energy is the verbalization of sentiments and desires, which is a feature of action that might be described as somewhat circumspect.
Through the process of becoming conscious of this timid subpersonality and distancing ourselves from it, we make it possible for the more mature and organised aspects of our personality to invade the space of consciousness, so liberating them, and thus putting them at our disposal to handle situations that call for them.
This work with consciousness and energy is that of Voice Dialogue, a method that is still relatively unknown in France, particularly among experts. This aspect of our shyness, on the other hand, is wonderful and charming when compared to the shyness of toddlers.
Eliminating it from our minds is not a question that needs to be answered, nor is it something that could be done.
This means that it does not automatically and systematically impede you when you are dealing with a recruiter, a banker, or an authority figure for example; this infantile energy awakens in the other a parental energy, which can be benevolent, in the best case, or intransigent and haughty.
