The practice of coaching is becoming increasingly popular in the business world. In order to adopt the Coach position, you must take your colleagues to a higher, faster, and more powerful level. And most likely even further!

When you make the transition from being a simple line manager to a Manager Coach, you are responsible for completely assuming your position as a significant leader, growing the skills of your staff, and enhancing their capacity to adapt and survive change.

According to your interpretation, what does it mean to adopt the "Coach" posture? Can you tell me about the characteristics of a competent manager coach?
In my opinion, adopting the Coach posture involves providing assistance to your colleague in the process of learning and growing. I find the following metaphor to be quite appealing, and I frequently quote it:

The obligation of taking care of a plant and being aware of its requirements in order to ensure that it develops and thrives to the fullest extent feasible falls on the person who owns the plant. It is necessary to relocate the plant in order to ensure that it is in the appropriate location. And who is to blame if the plant does not thrive because of the circumstances? This is the gardener! »

It is clear that the coach is a responsible individual who recognises the significance of his role in the growth of his collaborator. What are his characteristics?

The knowledge of his collaborator, the ability to respect it for what it is, the ability to perceive its qualities, and the ability to cherish them are all examples of strong human values.

A good coach is someone who is able to speak in a forceful manner and with strong interpersonal skills:

Because of the quality of the relationship that he has formed, he will be able to demonstrate listening, empathy, availability, and the capacity to recognise the skills of its employees. He will also be able to trust and generate trust.

Using the coaching tools, the expert manager will be able to obtain the following:

The knowledge and interpersonal skills that are required in order to establish oneself as a legitimate manager
Characteristics that allow you to fulfil your duty as a leader inside the group (or organisation) in its entirety
There will be an increase in motivation, people will perform to the best of their abilities, and the efficiency of the business will be improved!
