Overcome Perfectionism At Work: How To Break FreesteemCreated with Sketch.

There are both good and bad things about being a perfectionist. Sometimes it's hard because it can make someone do things they know are bad while also stopping them from doing good things.

What if I kindly told you that those things might not be part of your job? I know you think your point of view is right. We can do worse on tests if we act or do things that aren't in our skill set.

Knowing where pride comes from can help you get past its problems. Perfectionists are told to get over the idea that they can always get better.

First, be okay with flaws.

You can't get to perfection, and that's part of making progress in your life. To improve ourselves, we have to accept our flaws.

People who try to be perfect are told to see their mistakes as chances to learn. It's important to be aware of their flaws and use them as chances to learn. Because of this, they might feel down and not want to try. It might be helpful to keep up good performance by always getting better.

We should not try to be perfect, but instead accept ourselves as we are. People who have a strong sense of self-worth may try to be perfect in everything they do and say. The ego, which is part of the inner mind, keeps us safe from fear and self-doubt. Our thoughts naturally look for flaws, so we might not always be perfect.

Being able to see and accept our flaws helps us stop trying to be perfect. We can get over our need to be great and do well in life by doing this.

Second, put manageable jobs at the top of your list.

There are people who push themselves to reach their goals. They might do this because they are hard on themselves and let down when their attempts fail.

Unfortunately, that claim may not be true. Tasks can get better if you focus on them. For tasks that can't be done perfectly or with full attention, speed and efficiency might be helpful.

We practise something that can be made better so that we can get better at it. When we do something over and over again, we get better at it.

We're good at many things. To be brilliant, you need to find a mix between working hard and not working too hard. Stress makes mistakes more likely. It's fine.

While it's easy to do badly, most of the time it's easier to reach a high level of skill than to be perfect. We practise something that can be made better so that we can get better at it. Being excellent is hard, but it leads to growth.
