Actually, I'm not referring to the phone's battery life. But in any case, I suppose I fall into the category of those who enjoy testing their limits while constantly using low battery. It was crazed. You'll see what I mean later in the article.

Every step I take to stay there as a senior in a very challenging position at a very "value" international company known to be very prestigious feels like pushing a mountain: rowing against the current.

After that, I change to a job that I enjoy more and is more in line with my values; however, despite working occasionally longer hours, I still feel exhausted: this is an example of effort that is fluid.

I enjoy formulas. Algorithms are my favourite aspect of writing computer programmes. Take this action in this situation and this action in other situations. Oh, how relaxing. Contrary to computer programs, life is not binary, is it? But it seems like we can simplify our lives a little if we choose specific indicators rather than wider ranges.

What effort is now? I arrived at this during one of my father and I's philosophical discussions about whether to push against the current or go with the flow.

Have you ever thought about it? Where are you currently in your journey? Where did you last pass through? Was it rough terrain or flower gardens? What has it brought you to and what lies ahead? What's your destination? Is it really worthwhile to work towards this? Do you think it's important? Does it fit into your journey at all? Is it priceless? Is performing pushups today my thing? Do I really want it that bad to make an effort to lose those pounds?

Since you won't be able to look at the navigation if your phone's battery is low, you won't be able to call someone in an emergency on an unfamiliar road (or maybe if you love Google Maps like I do). You do not enter, you do not... Never attempt to row against the current if your battery is running low.

Life is a never-ending laborious journey. Sometimes we have to fight within ourselves to get up and do the job, other times we have to sigh and start something new, other times we have to keep our mouths shut, and other times we have to finish what we started.

Going to the gym with a friend who doesn't have a background in sports but claims she wants to do it results in her doing two push-ups before admitting she can't complete the third exercise, which involves rowing against the current.

But if you occasionally perform a challenging movement while working a muscle, it will grow; if you do not, it will not. Sometimes you have to row against the flow. The next time we played sports, three push-ups would have been simple for him, and he might have played the fourth if he had completed the third push-up that day.
