Most of us have lofty goals and innovative ideas.

Why then do so few people take initiative and have the perseverance necessary to succeed? The root cause is fear.

Our development and well-being are hampered by it. If we are not careful, it might keep us from realising our dreams.

The worst enemy we can have is this fear.

Napoleon Hill's research into the success secrets of the richest men has demonstrated that if we can get past the barriers our fears erect, we can accomplish anything we set our minds to.

Napoleon Hill asserts that there are six main forces that can stand between us and achieving our deepest aspirations.

We are drawn to the things that capture our attention.

People who are financially independent rarely experience the fear of poverty, in contrast to many of our most vulnerable citizens.

You can deliberately control your thoughts to get over your fear of poverty once you understand that it is just a state of mind and that you attract the things that you focus on.

Instead of letting yourself get bogged down in negative thoughts, picture yourself as prosperous and financially independent.

You are so excited to share your brilliant idea with your loved ones.

He sadly doesn't share your enthusiasm and provides you with countless excuses for why your project won't succeed and you won't.

Before you know it, you start to question it and eventually decide that it is a bad idea.

For some reason, our success starts to depend on what other people think of us.

It can have such an effect that we start to feel constrained by other people's viewpoints.

Keep in mind that the choice of who should have control over your thoughts and life is yours.

The things and events we concentrate on shape our thoughts.

Taking the fear of a disease we will never contract as an example. It will be simpler to overcome that fear once you have mental control.

Naturally, you should take care of your body and maintain a healthy weight, but you shouldn't let your fear of getting sick consume all of your thoughts.

It is the fear that hurts the most.

the following are signs of this fear:

Possessing suspicions without a good or clear reason is jealousy.
To find mistakes, one must at all costs look for them in others.
Putting one's faith in luck: the practise of making risky financial decisions in an effort to keep a loved one's affection.
We develop a fear of getting older very early in life.

Why do we fear getting older?

This is due to two factors:

First, the notion that poverty comes with age.
The second, and likely most important, factor is the subpar education, of which we are nearly all victims, and which uses youth and beauty as an excuse without considering the unique qualities that make each of us unique.

Undoubtedly the cruellest of the six ghosts of fear is the fear of dying.

We experience invasion and constant presence from it.

It is a sign that you don't have any life goals. The best way to overcome your fear of dying is to have a life goal.

The longer we live, the more value we believe we add to the world.

It is essential to conquer all of our fears if we are to fully develop and succeed in life.

Instead of allowing your thoughts to rule your life, learn to control them.

Just as much as it creates reality around your hopes for success and your courage, your mind also creates reality around your six ghosts of fear.

Once your demons are vanquished, you'll experience mental peace and be better able to calmly pursue your goals.
