Do you want to continue to excel in your professional life? Do you aspire to have a successful career and be regarded as a knowledgeable individual? Would you like to maintain your status as the most knowledgeable person in a particular field, or perhaps earn that title?

Therefore, you are going to have to toil!

In a world that is so focused on the here and now, I am aware that this is not the kind of conversation you want to have. But I have some good news for you: if you are able to master your concentration, you will be able to achieve your goals more quickly... (or complete whatever it is that you are doing much more quickly). Most importantly, you'll be able to acquire new skills much more quickly than anyone else who has trouble concentrating.

Because in today's world, thousands of talented people find themselves enslaved by a variety of distractions, both internal and external.

Imagine this student who wants to retake his classes but is constantly being distracted by unknown people on social networks...

Imagine a situation in which a manager is trying to strategize but is constantly being interrupted by his team members who have important questions...

Consider the knowledge worker who is pressed for time but just can't shake an issue from his personal life, despite the fact that he needs to finish a case...
In any case...

Keeping one's attention on blog posts appears to be a simple task...

In practise, putting into practise the "10 hacks to concentrate for hours" requires self-discipline as well as a significant capacity for adaptation:

When working in a public place or when telecommuting, it is not always possible to keep yourself isolated from other people.

When you are waiting for a response from a significant client, it is not always possible to switch your smartphone to the aeroplane mode.

I don't check my e-mails before 11 in the morning, so it's not always possible for my coworkers to do the same.
In a nutshell, the ideal circumstances are only occasionally attained. Should that make you feel like you have to take on the role of the victim who suffers in silence and grumbles? No.

And before I discuss three tried and true methods for effective concentration...Why is it getting more difficult to develop your ability to sustain your attention over time?

And the offender responsible for creating distractions is...

Fragmented!

It is a dangerous game to try to pin our lack of focus on a single factor, especially in a system as complicated as this one. As a result, I will give you three reasons why I believe that problems with attention span and concentration will not go away any time soon in our society (in fact, you will see that they will get worse over time).

What exactly does this entail for you? Your ability to successfully manage your attention will provide you with a significant advantage over the competition.
