第38回篠山ABCマラソンvol.1 結果速報　The 38th Sasayama ABC Marathon vol.1 Flash Report of Result

今日は篠山ABCマラソンでしたので、レースについてレポートしたいところなのですが、さすがに疲れてしまい、明日も朝が早いので、とりあえず、結果の速報だけお知らせしておきたいと思います。
Today is the day of Sasayama ABC Marathon, so I’d like to report on the race. But I’m very tired and tomorrow is an early day, so I provide you with a flash report of the result.

篠山ABCマラソンのような大規模なレースではグロスタイム（号砲～ゴールまでのタイム）とネットタイム（そのランナーのスタートライン通過～ゴールまでのタイム）との間に大きな差が生じます。今回の僕の場合、グロスタイムが3時間22分30秒、ネットタイムはグロスタイムからスタート通過タイムの2分21秒を引いた、3時間20分09秒ということになります。
In big races such as Sasayama ABC Marathon, gross time (time from starting gun to finish line) and net time (time from starting line to finish line) make a big differance. In case of me in this race, the gross time is 3:22’30” and the net time is 3:20’09”, which is calculated by subtracting 2’21”(time of passing starting line) from the gross time.

予想を上回る好タイムで、前回のフルマラソンに続いて3時間30分を切ることができました。ネットタイムの3時間20分09秒は自己ベストになりますが、公認タイムはグロスタイムの3時間22分30秒のほうなので、「自己ベスト更新」と言っていいのかどうか悩ましいところです。
It is a better time than anticipated, and I could run the full marathon under 3:30 as well as the previous full marathon. The net time, 3:20’09”, is my personal best time, but usually, the gross time, 3:22’30”, is treated as the official time. So I wonder if I can say that I beat my personal best time.
