71 Days to go - The Great North Run

in running •  6 years ago

Yesterday I got up at 5.45 am and forced myself to go for a run as I was supposed to of gone the day before but I didn’t go. I’m following the 12 week half marathon plan so I needed to go!so today’s run was a 35 minute tempo run, this means I run 10 minutes easy to warm up, 15 minutes at a bit slower pace than my 10k race pace then 10 minutes easy to slow down. I found it a struggle this morning and my watch died. The pace was ok even if my 4th km was a bit fast.

Here’s the stats

Was it warm then? I struggle to get up that early. It was hot enough at 9am for parkrun. Looks like it will stay hot for a while
