어제에 이어 각종 맛나는 갑각류들을 만나보겠습니다.
팔로팔로미!!
1. 민물새우,줄새우 (River Shrimp)
애완용으로도 키워지고 있고 특히 낚시의 미끼용으로
쉽게 구할 수 있는 징거미새우과의 줄새우입니다.
클리어재질을 사용해서 실제와 유사하게 표현했습니다.

2. 갯가재 (Mantis Shrimp)
엄청난 펀치력을 자랑하는 갯가재입니다.
몸길이는 보통 15센치정도로 18센치까지 자란다고 합니다.
Mantis가 영어로 사마귀인데 길게 접힌
앞다리가 비슷하네요.
언젠가 갯가재가 조개를 깨서 먹는 장면을 봤는데
정말 그 힘이 엄청나더군요.
잘하면 어항도 깨부술듯...

3.붉은가재/레드클락키 탈피직후 (Red Swamp Crayfish after molting)
어제 붉은가재와 같은 조형에 앞집게 다리만 변화를
준 탈피직후 모습입니다. (왼쪽이 탈피전 오른쪽이 탈피직후)
그런데 제가 이종은 안키워봐서 탈피후 색이
맞는지는 잘 모르겠네요. 제가 알기론 탈피 직후에도
색이 크게 다르지 않은 걸로 알고 있거든요.
참고로 가재의 탈피는 새끼를 낳는 것 만큼 위험한 과정이라
탈피사로 용궁가기 쉽기때문에 잘 보살펴야 합니다.
잘 보살핀다고 함은 탈피시 다른 개체의 공격으로 부터
안전하게 격리하고 탈피후 연화된 갑각이 경화될때까지
은신해 두는 정도랄까요.
가재에게는 코코넛껍질 같은 은신장소가 꼭 필요합니다.
사진속 집은 제가 키우던 가재를 위해 직접 만들어 준겁니다.ㅎㅎ
4.민물가재 (Freshwater Crayfish)
5cm 정도의 작은 체장을 가진 일본가재입니다.
하지만 우리나라 가재와 거의 같아서 그냥 민물가재로...
낮은 온도와 깨끗한 물을 필요로 하며
낮은 온도에서 살기 때문인지 성장속도가 늦다고 합니다.
현재 안타깝게도 꾸준히 그수가 감소하고 있다고 하네요.
오동통하니 참 귀엽게 생겼습니다.
5. 농게 (Tetragonal Fiddler Crab)
지난번 다른브랜드로도 출현한바 있는 농게입니다.
전반적인 퀄리티는 지금 이 제품이 더 좋습니다.
어색하게나마 가동도 됩니다.

사진에 잘 안 담겼지만 집게의 표현이 아주 훌륭합니다.
갑질의 오돌도돌함 까지 미세하게 모두 표현되었지요.
집게가 벌려졌으면 하는 욕심이...
예전에 맨하탄 펫샵에서 구피를 사냥해
저 큰 집게로 끌어안고 아주 맛나게 얌얌 뜯어 먹고
있는 걸 봤는데 참 인상적이었습니다.
다음은 시크릿으로 출현했던 암컷입니다.
좀 심심해 보이죠? ㅎㅎ

6.부채새우 (Fan Lobster)
부채새우는 제주도 연안에서 많이 어획되며
서양에서는 슬리퍼 새우라 부릅니다.
체장은 15~20센치로 누가 한번 깔고 앉은 것처럼
납작한게 재밌게 생겼습니다.
단조로운듯 하지만 자세히 보면 나름
디테일한 손길이 느껴집니다.
가을에 알이 꽉차서 달고 맛있다고 하니
기다렸다가 한번 드셔보세요.
- 화이트 클라키 (White Crayfish)
드디어 마지막 나의 로망, 화이트 클라키, 줄여서 화클입니다.
펫샵에서 이 아이를 실제로 보고 한눈에 반해버린 아이죠.
쉴새없이 움직이는 입과 촐랑대는 다리...
오밀조밀하고 섬세한 얼굴...
결국 이 아이덕에 물생활을 본격적으로 시작했는데요.
지난 물생활 이야기에서도 올린적이 있었죠.

유빈이와 계곡에서 갯자재를 못잡아서 정말 너무 안타까운 마음입니다.
