브루클린 덤보를 소개합니다.
브루클린 덤보(DUMBO)는 Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass라는 ‘맨하탄 브릿지 아래’ 의 줄임말인데요. 맨하탄 브릿지와 브루클린 브릿지를 사이에 두고 브루클린 입구에 해당하는 지역이다. 무한도전에서도 뉴욕에 왔을때 촬영한 장소이기도합니다. 옛날에는 창고와 공장이 대부분인 삭막한 곳이었지만 지금은 창고를 개조한 럭셔리한 상점과 호텔들이 들어서며 브루클린에서 가장 핫 한 지역중 한곳으로 자리잡았습니다. 브리클린브릿지 공원에는 유명한 아티스트의 작품도 구경할 수 있습니다. 2017년에는 영국 조각가 아니쉬 카푸어의 작품이 설치되어 있었습니다. 아래에서 보시다 보면 물이 소용돌이처럼 빠지는 사진입니다.

덤보에서 유명한 브루클린 아이스크림 팩토리. 항상 사람들이 줄을 서서먹는 인기있는 가게입니다.

자물쇠로 사랑을 확인하고싶어하는 커플들이 있네요. ㅎ 사실 이런건 쉽게 풀리는데 말이죠.

아름다운 장소가 많아서 웨딩촬영하는 커플들을 많이 볼 수 있습니다.

덤보는 지난해 가장 많은 공사로 분위기가 많이 바뀌었습니다. 공원이 잘 조성되었고 자전거와 산책로도 다시 정비되었네요.
