Everyone wants to do better. Most of the time, we think things will get better and we can do better. We even compare ourselves to people who "get everything happy" and make things easy for themselves while they drive around the road a lot to reach their goal. Everyone likes short cuts.

After being picked on and harassed, I became very depressed when I was eight years old. I was in and out of child mental hospitals until I was 17. At 24, all I have to deal with is my low self-esteem, which makes me feel insecure and causes me to have many problems every day.

Self-esteem is greatly affected by family life. If our parents are sure of themselves, we feel better about ourselves. It is very likely that we will have low self-esteem if our parents have emotionally distant, criticised, or disqualified us as a kid.

We will be less safe when we're not at home because it will cost us more to protect ourselves and we might be afraid of succeeding.

No matter what, we need to admit that we lack self-esteem and work hard to get it back. How should you do it?

Self-image is shaped by what you show or say to other people. To find your negative, listen to how your words sound or how you yourself. Start showing yourself in a good way. At first, you'll feel pushed, but in the end, you'll let go.

Your steady friends hurt your self-esteem because you will never look good when you're with toxic people. There are people who want to help you succeed and people who want to steal your energy.

You don't have to go to the gym to feel great. The body, mind, and emotions are all part of feeling good. To be happy and healthy, you need to be busy and do things that make all three areas better.

Write it down or think about it. Take a moment to think about how hard you worked to get everything you have and what it gives you. Don't feel bad about doing some of these things for money; many of them would not be possible without it.

Have fun with your wins. You feel better now that you've worked hard and been positive for a week. As a treat, do something you enjoy.
