How can we realise what the present moment has to offer us?

Life moves at a breakneck pace. We have already lost the power to regulate our thoughts as a result of this process; but, we are able to reclaim that skill.

When was the last time you had complete control over your thoughts, even if it was just for a brief period of time? Please share your memories.

Are you able to determine where you can concentrate and for how long you can do so? As soon as we begin our practice of meditation and mindfulness, these are the very first questions that we find ourselves wondering about.

The peculiar thing is that everyone in our immediate environment has this trouble with controlling their thoughts, but because everyone has it, it has become the standard!

We are unable to stop the division and spread of thoughts since they are in a state of constant flux.

Our thoughts, which are separated into two groups between "what I have done" and "what I will do" on the axis of the past and the future, prevent us from attaining the reality and happiness of the present moment.

Instead of focusing on the positive aspects of life, the mind, which is adept at mistaking unpleasant thoughts for reality, tends to concentrate on the negative aspects of life.

We always have different dreams while we are eating dinner, when we are sleeping, and when we are working.

We have a tendency to hunt for solutions to our problems from the past in the form of imagined happiness in the future, despite the fact that our thoughts are constantly searching for better.

Because of this, we frequently experience issues such as worry, fear, stress, and insomnia.

'Now' is nothing more than a step on the path to the future in this cycle, and happiness is always some point in the future.

Having said that, life is happening right now. Right now is the only moment that truly matters. Now is the only time that has ever existed, and there will never be another time like it.

By focusing on our thoughts, feelings, and sensations, we are able to become aware of ourselves and our environment in the present moment. This is accomplished by taking time for ourselves and engaging in relaxation activities such as meditation and awareness exercises.

This process teaches us to create joy, to become individuals who recognise the beauty of the now, and to live the future with the correct plans, rather than dreams. This is true despite the fact that the process can be difficult at times.

Both the past and the future come to a standstill when it comes to the state of affairs in the present. Taking pleasure in the here and now allows you to let go of regrets from the past and prevents you from being haunted by thoughts of future bliss.

Not in the future, but in the present moment, happiness is found in life.
